Representative Responsibilities:
Assists Regional Manager and Architectural Manager in sales support, working with dealers, reps and consultants.
Visits dealers and reps
Works with ETC quotations, Customer Services and R&D to define project requirements and design lighting systems for customers
Coordinates sales calls with factory reps and dealers
Conducts training seminars
Assembles system layouts for theatrical and architectural lighting systems for the territory
Layout lighting control systems with specifications and risers
Administrates the demonstration equipment for the West territory
Responsible for maintaining functional demo equipment and presentation of all sales demo suites, training rooms, demo and warehouse facilities
Develops and maintain strong relationships with consultants and end user dealers - act as ETC key contact with these customers
Manages and provides budget information for projects
Participates in trade shows, sales training seminars and other informational sales events
Attends trade shows
Creates and lead training classes, including the training of customers on equipment
Assists in producing sales and quotation reports for reps and dealers
Maintaining User and Consultant West Coast Data Base
Performs other sales support duties as assigned
May support Technical Services as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Technical Theatre obtained through an accredited four-year program, or 8 years of comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
1-3 years previous job related experience
Experience in theatrical and/or architectural lighting production
Experience with television lighting
Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of AutoCad, AGI, or other photometric software
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, lighting designers, sales representatives, dealers, electrical contractors, and distributors
Ability to design theatrical lighting for dramas and live events
Knowledge of moving light and LED fixtures
Knowledge of full ETC product line and equivalent competition
Ability to understand ETCs motorized theatrical rigging products and their methods of control preferred
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and able to provide timely, thorough and accurate customer service
