Shift : M-F 12 : 30 PM - 9 : 00 PM
MUST HAVE AN ILLINOIS PHARMACY TECH LICENSE
forklift certification / willingness to learn how to operate machinery is a PLUS
Position Summary :
This position is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory at the assigned facility. Specific tasks would include but are not limited to purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
Duties :
- Receiving product into pharmacy including removal and disposal of packaging.
- Checking product into SAP using RF scanner.
- Putting product into correct locations by expiration dates to ensure proper dispensing.
- Replenishing picking locations.
- Checking and counting products for expiration, ensuring first expired first out process is followed.
- Responsible for receiving inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances. Responsible for the selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
- Manage return goods according to standard operating procedures
- Ensure proper inventory / stock levels are maintained / filled per SOP guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators and freezers in a well-organized manner
- Work with Inventory CDR to assist in cycle counting functions.
- Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory
- Maintain the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner.
Experience :
- 3 months work experience preferred in a warehouse or inventory environment.
- Six months computer experience in a Windows based system / Basic typing / data entry skill.
- Pharmacy experience a plus but not required.
- Certification for forklift operation if applicable for equipment
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
- Able to apply mathematical concepts to inventory functions.
- Must be able to learn and utilize computer applications to communicate information, record data accurately.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- This position requires the ability to prioritize and to manage time efficiently.
Education :
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
