Location- Mossville On-site required

Summary:
The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.
Job Responsibilities:
• Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
• May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
• May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
• Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5-7 years experience required.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
• Our Remote Control products are growing quickly and we are in a heavy phase of development and customer deployments. This person will take over the existing work of our current service engineer. The backfill will cover the Remote Control Wheel Loader products which is covered by the current resource. In addition, this position will provide on site support for dealers who are setting up remote control systems.
Typical Day or Week in the Role
This role typically covers NPI projects and field issues on a daily basis. Managing both at the same time.
Working to understand the NPI projects then working on deliverables.
Interaction with team:
• Daily interaction with other service engineers, but also software, hardware, systems, validation, site coms engineers.
Work environment:
• Daily would be at Mossville Tech Center, but some travel to customer sites around the world. Office environment
• Potential surface mining
Education & Experience Required:
• Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
• 2 yrs of in field heavy equipment support
• 2 yrs of on machine technology
Technical Skills
(Required)
• Heavy Equipment Electrical and CAN Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of computer software and operating systems, such as Windows, Ubuntu, Command Line and Terminal
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Onedrive, Sharepoint, etc.)
