We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team in New Paltz, NY. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial work, be highly motivated, and have excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time position that pays $17 per hour.
Janitor Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial work preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Janitor Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and empty trash bins
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Notify management of any necessary repairs or maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
