Civil Project Engineer
SUMMARY:
The Etica Group is actively seeking a highly talented Site Civil Engineer for immediate employment in the Indianapolis area. The selected candidate will plan and design infrastructure construction projects in a multidisciplinary setting. The candidate must possess a positive attitude toward expanding their abilities, further developing their project management skills, and assuming responsibility for the completion of complex tasks. Our projects typically include site development, drainage, utility, street, trail, sidewalk, curb ramp, parking, hydraulic modeling and permitting. Our hybrid work environment will introduce the candidate to a broad skill set through experiences within the office and in the field within all of the Etica Group engineering specialties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Site, Utility and Infrastructure Engineering Construction Plans and Specifications:
Necessary use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D for detailed design.
Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Bluebeam, Dropbox and general website navigation required.
Project Management:
Meet/work/collaborate with project stakeholders (other engineers, sub-consultants, contractors, and owners representatives).
Meet/work/collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of engineers, technicians and other professional/support staff.
Understand project scope, requirements, constraints, and objectives.
Work within and manage tasks to budgets and schedules.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
3 years of experience in civil site design
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
Registered PE preferred, not required
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, and within a team, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
