Job description...

Your role will be to identify, develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to secure home and outpatient infusion referrals. You will serve as a valuable resource to referral sources by identifying opportunities to serve patients and helping to create a seamless transition of care in coordination with your Etown Vital Care team.

Referral sources include:

  • Hospital Social Workers, Case Managers and Discharge Planners
  • Health care providers and staff (MDs, PAs, APRNs, RN’s, LPN’s, etc.)
  • Physician specialty clinics such as infectious disease, oncology, neurology, allergy and immunology, cardiology, gastrointestinal, and OB/GYN
  • Wound care centers and surgery centers
  • Home Health Agencies
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities, assisted living facilities, and independent living communities
  • Others as Identifies

Activities & Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with current and potential referral sources for home and outpatient infusion therapy services.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with referral sources in the service area with the ability to properly manage and follow up with individual accounts.
  • Make telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective referral sources.
  • Plan and organize a sales strategy to maximize efficiency.
  • Document and report activities to management on a regular basis.
  • Communicate and work with the pharmacy team and help coordinate patient care activities.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of current therapies, supplies, and equipment required to perform the various therapies in the home by attending industry relevant meetings, seminars and educational programs, as required to maintain competitive knowledge of the industry.

Requirements

  • Existing relationships with case management and/or social work staff at service area hospitals or service area physician specialty clinics
  • Sales and/or account management experience is preferred
  • Nursing background is a plus but not required
  • Relationship building skills and customer service focused mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Clean driving record and criminal background check.
  • Goal and results driven
  • Outstanding work ethic and a team player
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions

Compensation will include a competitive base salary and performance bonus based on experience and qualifications. Company benefits include a retirement plan with company match, a Blue Cross health and dental insurance plan, paid holidays, and vacation time.
