JOB DESCRIPTION

· Experis IT is partnered with the worlds leading provider of secure financial messaging services in their search for a Business/Functional Analyst to join their team in Manassas, VA.

· You will gather, define and maintain functional requirement specifications in collaboration with stakeholders, ranging from customers, marketing specialists, software developers, quality assurance testers, or customer support specialists

· You will translate customers’ business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, and validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions and constraints

· You will demonstrate your ability to manage multiple sources of information and master the specification of solutions based on a wide spectrum of technologies and techniques, such as web services, distributed architecture, micro-services

· You will prepare and conduct requirement workshops, walkthrough, critical review and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives

· You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across 3 continents

Technical Skills:

· Formal structured software engineering methodologies: OO analysis, design and modelling (UML)\

·
Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.), alternatively, knowledge of tools such as Quality

· Center or experience in using other repository-based tools

·
Knowledge of network, DB, XML, security techniques and principles

·
Practical experience with business management and automation technology for the modelling of business processes in the financial industry is a strong asset

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $98,500.00 per year
