Euclid Vision Corporation is seeking a human resources manager to help enrich our efforts in designing and maintaining an engaging and productive environment for our greatest asset – our employees. The HR manager will maintain a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures and talent and HR best practices. The HR manager is responsible for talent acquisition, employee onboarding/offboarding, compensation and benefits administration, HRIS administration, and employee relations.
This role sits in our Sterling, VA office.
Responsibilities
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Administer compensation and benefit plans
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management. Organize annual employee performance review and goal setting process
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Maintain employee files and records
Enhance employee job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Nurture a positive working environment
Provide HR and people-related reports to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Qualifications
5 years of proven working experience in human resources, preferably as an HR Manager, generalist, or business partner
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent professional experience in similar roles
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Must be people oriented and results driven, excellent customer service skills
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Expert knowledge of HR systems and databases, such as UKG and benefits administration portals
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
