Job Description
Proposal Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Own and drive responses to RFIs and RFPs while adhering to the proposals process and meeting key metrics like turnaround time.
- Applies expert knowledge of our services and solutions, as well as commercial acumen to create and lead complex proposal deliverables from initiation to delivery, across text, slides, and spreadsheet formats.
Understands, recommends, and incorporates latest and focused evidence in the proposal showcasing capability and experience.
- Act as a liaison with business development, subject matter experts, operations, and pricing to generate accurately scoped and priced proposals.
- Communicate the advantages of Eurofins BPT’s experience, capabilities, quality, and service to position BPT as the leading choice in the response.
Answer all RFI / RFP questions accurately and completely. The professional quality and completeness of the response will be superior to that of all respondents.
- Maintain and continually improve the Eurofins BPT proposal database, developing and effectively organizing information for response to commonly asked questions.
- Execute special projects designed to ensure the continuous improvement of the proposal team.
- Superior project management skills with strong attention to detail that can consistently and efficiently deliver complex, quality, on-time proposals while balancing multiple priorities.
- Able to drive the proposals process with full autonomy over the activity with occasional support as it is needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess :
- Experience creating formal RFI / RFP responses including project plans (with lead times and milestones).
- Experience selling for a service company in the bio / pharmaceutical sector CDMO, CRO, or CTO. Practical lab experience with a biotech / pharma company would be a plus.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in sciences or M.B.A. in marketing / business or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
- At least three years bio / pharmaceutical sales, project management, or drug development experience, preferably in the contract services sector of the bio / pharmaceutical industry and / or testing services
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Hybrid is open for consideration and candidates would be permitted to WFH Mondays and Fridays whit Tu / W / Th in office.
Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
Please note, ideally this candidate would be located and oporate out of our head quarters in Lancaster, PA, however would would also be open to considering Portage, MI and Columbia, MO as alternate locations
