Job Description
- Assist BU with workforce planning and development activities (developing standard benchmarks for key positions, career ladder development)
- Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs and Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Forward position requests to NSC recruiting team, review resumes, interview candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Development of organizational training and development programs
- Develop succession plan for key positions and talent development
- Develop and maintain BU rewards and recognition programs
- Support leadership to ensure performance management process timelines are met
- Utilize Lawson system to request and notify NSC of employee changes, compensation changes, terminations and other employee changes
- Administer onboarding program for new hires and exit interviews with employees.
- Responsible for coaching the managers and partner with them to resolve employee related matters
- Ability to lead by example in terms of creating an exciting environment for employees and the company to ensure collective success
- Partners with Corporate HR colleagues to share practices, tools and information and Provides guidance and interprets polices for leaders and employees on best practices in HR and balances organizational and work group priorities.
- Provide NSC ER team copies of all documents and supporting evidence for endorsement and personnel files
- Collaborate with NSC ER team on employee relations and disciplinary issues
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Understands and works within a variety of guidelines with a little to no supervision
- Strong recruiting background.
- Solid organizational skills with a willingness to be hands-on to support the team as needed
- Can understand and manage to the Group KGDs as they relate to the job requirements for HR
- Highly critical requirement is– attention to detail and accuracy for all documentation and communication
- Excellent time management and skills to prioritize work against tight timelines
- Understands the requirement of and maintains highly confidential information
- Understands the team organization, individual roles and responsibilities within the team and how the team jointly achieves objectives
- Requires the interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to draft and administer policies, make effective presentations, conduct training sessions, etc., in a clear and persuasive manner
- Proficient in MS Office – Excel skillset is absolutely required.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Requires relevant professional experience (5 years)
- Very limited travel might be required
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
