Job Description
- Seeking people who are problem solvers and learners to perform experimental design and testing of new and transferred methods.
- Work in a quality environment to develop, design, and execute laboratory-based studies per protocol. Troubleshoot methods and analyze results in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a goal of scaling up a robust process to support clinical and commercial manufacturing.
- Perform protein analytical techniques such as SDS-PAGE, HPLC, Amino Acid Analysis, ELISA's and in vitro diagnostic test kits, HPLC, Lowry, Bradford, Pierce, Western Blotting, Mass Spectrometry, Dynamic Light Scattering, and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) in a QC environment
- This role will include collaborating in a team environment to present results, provide project updates, troubleshoot processes, and design, optimize, and scale up new process, instrumentation, and techniques.
- Support the planning of experiments resulting from campaign learnings to increase process robustness
- Support laboratory compliance and safety, maintain instrumentation and laboratory supplies, apply organizational and creative skills to improve lab operations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD POSSESS:
- Understanding and experience in performing analytical techniques such as experience with SDS-PAGE, HPLC, Amino Acid Analysis, ELISA's and in vitro diagnostic test kits, HPLC, Lowry, Bradford, Pierce, Western Blotting, Mass Spectrometry, Dynamic Light Scattering, or Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
- Experience in a quality laboratory setting developing protocols, analyzing data, implementing new equipment, data review, and writing reports
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are required
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or other related degree concentration with 2 years industry experience in a quality laboratory or manufacturing environment, OR Master degree with 1 years of relevant experience
