What You'll Do
Develop and deploy a framework of continuous improvement utilizing lean principlesWork with manufacturing engineering and production teams to identify production constraintsCollaborate with production engineering teams to determine overall equipment effectiveness and associated improvement strategiesPerform value-stream analysis through the use of simulations.Work with the external teams designing production lines for the factory to ensure that their layouts align with the overall plan and vision for the factory.Support decision making on process layout through the use of data.
What You'll Bring
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience as part of a project team prioritizing multiple continuous improvement projects Experience doing the detailed analysis necessary to make data driven decisions on process layout design, production line design or warehouse design.Able to gain buy in from a diverse group of stakeholdersAble to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.Experience with factories that require clean rooms and dry rooms is a plus.Experience with MOS/MES systems is a plus.Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
