The Staff Accountant is a critical role within the accounting team and reports to the Director of Accounting Operations. The role is a key finance position, working closely with other departments throughout the organization to report and analyze financial results and key performance indicators.
- Regularly communicate financial and operational results and variance drivers
- Track financial and operational metrics
- Assist in month-end close process
- Communicate effectively and often with internal/external contacts
- Capital Project & Fixed Asset tracking/balancing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0-1 years’ experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and successfully prioritize to deliver results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel skills with proven knowledge of complex functions, formulas & macros.
- Superior attention to detail
- Capable of delivering accurate, quality results in timely manner
- QAD experience a plus
