The Underwriting Services Training Team of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for an Insurance Training Specialist to join our team. The Insurance Training Specialist will report directly to the Underwriting Services Training Manager and work collaboratively with all departments to create content and facilitate training sessions for Everest Insurance’s employees and program administrators in a variety of settings and formats. This trainer needs to be proficient in adult learning and understand how to deliver content in ways that are best received based on the audience, background and experience of a diverse employee base and our external business partners. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Facilitates Instructor-Led Training across multiple platforms and business segments. Contributes to the creation of Job Aids, user guides, and other training materials for instructor led sessions. Contributes to creation of Needs Analysis and Course Outlines, collaborating closely with UW Services Leadership Team and stakeholders. Contributes as SME for Instructor Led training and creation of e-learning modules as needed. Works independently to manage projects and meet training deliverables. Strategically maps instructor led plan and upcoming cohort delivery. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred or relevant work experience. 2-4 years facilitation experience, including virtual, classroom, and online.. 1 year experience with e-learning authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate, etc) preferred but not required Experience/Knowledge of insurance industry. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Excellent Communication Skills. Ability to work constructively in a team environment as well as independently. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Webex, or comparable virtual learning platform preferred. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS word, PowerPoint, Excel.) Organized and detail oriented. Ability to communicate with a variety of levels within the organization. Provide feedback to students and management teams. Assess performance based on skills assessment taken post-training. Fosters team commitment. Adaptability. Learning Orientation.
