The Opportunity

This opportunity as a Security Specialist Technician in the Paso Robles, California area is perfect for an experienced technician!  This individual will serve as a field representative to install, test, repair, and maintain low voltage security systems at Camp Roberts, the National Guard post in central California. The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (Monday – Friday).

The Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects
• Serves as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training
• Collaborates with in-house EFS teams to improve installations
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
• Handles service order and project administration

The Necessities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Electronic security or electrical background
• Great customer service skills
• Effective communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Possesses a Secret Clearance
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)
• Effective when working solo and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Five years of similar work experience (installations on job sites, safety adherence)

Great to Have

• Relevant factory certifications and knowledge are always a plus.  Great examples include:
  • DAQ Access Control/IDS
  • Milestone CCTV
  • Pelco CCTV
  • Monitor Dynamics Access Control/IDS
  • AMAG
  • Various DDC and Building Utility Control Systems
• Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases
