As a Store Manager, your mission is to bring Evergreen Market to life for our customers. The Store Manager is accountable for developing leaders and employees who can successfully implement programs and deliver premium customer experiences in order to drive financial and business results.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Store Manager is the driver of total store sales, the customer experience, overall operational excellence and our high performance selling culture. The Store Manager has primary responsibility for the management of the store, including directing the work of direct reports and is responsible for the store's revenue, culture and employee engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Some Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages all levels of employees, from Assistant Store Manager to Budtender.
- Works collaboratively across the company with all employees and management including Human Resources, Operations, and Executive leadership.
- Leads the delivery of a high level of customer service experience.
- Delegates effectively; Drives exceptional results in stores, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, and providing ongoing feedback to develop store employees.
- Builds and develops high performance teams with courage and confidence.
- Drives store operations, financial results, labor management, expenses, and other programs and tools at their disposal.
Skills and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience.
- Self-starter who demonstrates professionalism, and can work independently.
- Experience with retail operations, including but not limited to: customer service, people and leadership management, budgeting, planning, sales, and cash management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail business systems (POS).
- Demonstrates ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions.
- Utilizes provided tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; Which could include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical requirements include the ability to (with or without accommodation):
- Lift, carry, push, and or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Twist, bend, squat, reach, and climb a ladder.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Willing to participate in our random (illegal) drug testing program
