About You:
Our Sales Manager will be a proven leader and demonstrate a winning sales process, as well as a proven track record of managing and growing a team. You will oversee and evaluate performance of the team, with clear objectives and metrics to ensure their success, along with the company sales goals. You will be expected to learn the EverLights system and apply best practices to drive continued growth for the business. You will be comfortable in a leadership role, building and mentoring the team, identifying strengths and weaknesses, with a view of ‘what does success look like?’ You will have a commitment to professional development and coaching and fostering a culture of accountability. You will have the ability to communicate and align with company sales and growth objectives. Report to senior leadership and VP of sales at EverLights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed objectives by creating and executing sales strategy to expand market share and maximizing revenue growth
- Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region, participates in the formulation of the sales contract negotiation and contract confirmation.
- Develops specific customer strategies and campaign plans, driving leadership in their execution
- Is accountable for implementing and executing the monthly, quarterly and annual sales strategy
- Provides regular reporting to the President, including sales pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, sales results and team earnings
- Utilize persuasive sales techniques to convince potential customers to make a purchase or schedule a follow-up appointment.
- Develops and implements promotional events and interacts with external contacts to increase sales volume.
- Expands EverLights' sales network by identifying, pitching, and building relationships with potential partners and/or customers in key markets
- Efficiently and pro-actively manages relationships providing quotations, shepherding orders through the company process, and providing excellent post-sales service on a timely basis
- Conduct door-to-door sales prospecting to residential and commercial properties and engage with potential customers in a friendly and professional manner, introducing Everlights products and services, including explaining our benefits to promote and sell Everlights products or services.
- Continuously prospect for new leads and identify potential customers within assigned territories.
- Extensive Travel within The Bay Area
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a door-to-door or direct sales environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively close sales and overcome objections.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize leads and maximize sales opportunities.
- Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude throughout the sales process.
- Confidence in approaching and interacting with strangers, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- Proficient in using sales techniques and strategies, such as building rapport, creating urgency, and closing deals.
- Basic computer skills to maintain accurate sales records and utilize sales software or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, sales experience required
