Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary: Accepts incoming mail and processes, sorts, and delivers it to the proper recipients. Assists with general office services tasks such as print work, back-up reception duties, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes courier items, interoffice mail, magazines and all classes of United States Postal Services (USPS) mail
  • Tracks courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail, etc.)
  • Researches and routes unidentified and generic mail
  • Coordinates, stages, and transports bulk mail items
  • Receives, logs, delivers and tracks messenger items
  • Follows all processes established in the client standard operating procedures
  • Follows established customer inquiry processes and responds to customer needs and requests
  • Promptly informs supervisor of potential problems or customer concerns
  • Maintains delivery lists and mail cart folders with updated names and locations
  • Coordinates and processes customized packaging and other customer special requests
  • Assists the Office Services team in print work, inventory management, reception back-up services, and other basic office services tasks
  • Maintains accurate records of customer inquiries and fulfillment of request
  • Participates in cross-training of other areas of service such as office services, facilities, and front desk
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Proven customer service-related experience
  • Maintain a positive attitude in busy environments
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pound
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and national criminal background check
