IT Desktop Support

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with experience in maintaining, repairing and rebuilding both Windows and Apple based laptops and desktops. The office location will be in Burlington, Ontario. The successful candidate will be versatile and boast a wide range of technical experience focused on problem solving and superior customer satisfaction, They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to work as part of a small yet hard working team. Minimum Experience: 2-4 years.

Responsibilities include: 

• Maintain and action general Helpdesk queues for IT Desktop Support 
• Windows Desktop administration and security updates
• IP Networking (TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLAN, DNS, DHCP)
• Administer and monitor the corporate phone system
• Monitor and maintain all wireless access points
• Monitor and maintain network printers
• Monitor and maintain Desktop Backups
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems

Qualifications: 

• Post-Secondary graduate in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Experience with Mobile Devices (iPhone, Android)

Salary : $35,000 - $45,000
