Job Summary:
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards, credential regulations and internal policies due to onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination policies, and workplace safety regulations for all internal and external employees.
• Responsible for all internal and external employee onboarding and offboarding process
• Responsible for all review and approval of licenses and required certifications and insurance policies
• Responsible for reference and background clearance procedures
Employee Compliance:
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure their operations comply with relevant labor laws and workplace safety standards.
• Provide guidance and support to department heads on compliance-related issues.
Auditing & Monitoring:
• Regularly audit the organization’s internal and external hiring processes, payroll, and employee records to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, including audit results, training sessions, and communications with regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
Ethical Standards:
• Promote a culture of ethical behavior and compliance within the agency, ensuring all operations are conducted with integrity and in compliance with legal standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to staffing and employment practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with contract management and reviewing legal documents.
• Ability to conduct thorough audits and investigations.
• Proficiency with compliance management software and tools.
• Ethical mindset with a commitment to upholding high standards of legal compliance.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, law, business, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
• One to three years of related staffing experience in the medical or animal science field.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
