Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Follow all applicable HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality
- Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and choice
- Provide dementia care for individuals with memory impairments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for individuals
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or assisted living preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Understanding of dementia care principles
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
