What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Evolve Companies?
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Able to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Coordinator/Engineer responsibilities
- Attend and document project meetings (write minutes)
- Set up and maintain project filing system
- Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
- Assist with preparation of schedules
- Assist with updating and maintaining master schedule
- Distribute all documents to subcontractors and maintain document logs
- Evaluate field problems and document RFI’s
- Prepare and maintain RFI logs on Procore system
- Review, evaluate, and transmit submittals
- Prepare and maintain submittal logs and expediting log
- Perform expediting functions
- Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports
- Report quantities in place and maintain labor cost report
- Cost code and/or verify correct codes
- Prepare and document extra work orders
- Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys
- Maintain logs on Procore
- Maintain progress photo album
- Compile contract close out documents (O&M manuals, as builts, etc.)
- Document punch list work
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent
- Field experience desirable
- Basic estimating and scheduling skills
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with external and internal customers
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.
- Drafting and computer skills desirable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Occasional exposure to dust and fumes, electric shock, radiation, toxic/caustic chemicals
- Requires frequent stooping/bending/crouching, reaching, handling, finger dexterity, sitting,standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs.
- Constant finger dexterity and ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, and talk,and possess depth perception
- Occasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in highexposed places
- The noise intensity level is high
