Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. Our location is in a beautiful mountain community just in time for some outdoor activities! The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to expectant mothers and infants during the labor and delivery process. Start Date 7/15, 13-weeks EMR - Cerner.
Unit: Family Birth Center (L&D RP)
- # beds: 3 Rooms (could cross over to MedSurg if full)
- Certs: BLS, NRP, ACLS, FHM - Advanced. Min 2 years of experience
- Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 4
- EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments during labor
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist with pain management techniques
- Administer medications and IV fluids as needed
- Support patients through the delivery process
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Document patient information accurately
Qualifications:
- 2-years' experience
- CA RN License
- ACLS
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- BLS
- COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
- NRP
