Summary/Objective

The LED Repair Technician will provide in house repairs and quality control for various pixel pitch LED. This individual will also assist in LED job prep / check-in / general Quality Control when there are no LED repairs to complete.

Essential Functions

• Provide skilled labor for in-house repairs on various pixel pitch LED.
• Coordinate and communicate with all relevant parties on related changes and schedules for large repair jobs.
• Follow production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
• Provide additional labor to assist warehouse, quality control, and service departments when no LED repairs are needed.
• Work with quality control department to identify problems and work process improvements.
• Maintain skills/knowledge in all brands/models of product used by Evolve in the LED department.
• Other duties as assigned by management within scope.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with micro-soldering techniques and repair work for various LED pixel pitches (1.9mm and above preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience LED systems setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience with various LED product manufacturers/products (Absen, Uber, ROE, etc.).
• Experience with various LED Processing systems (Novastar, Brompton, etc.).
• Knowledge of safe operation both rigging and ground support systems for LED wall use.
• Cross platform proficiency (PC, Mac, Linux).
• Great communication skills.
• Solid Organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• The ability to handle basic hand tools (screw driver, wrenches etc.).

Specific Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colorvision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
