What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at EVONA?
My client who are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge communication solutions are looking for an Electronics Test Technician for a 6 month contract which will either extend or go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electronic components, including printed circuit boards (PCB) and assemblies, to identify and rectify issues.
- Process Control & System Evaluation: Investigate and resolve issues related to process control, as well as sub-system and full-system evaluation, offering effective solutions to enhance system performance.
- PCB Repair & Documentation: Analyze and repair broken PCBs, creating detailed documentation for the testing and assembly processes.
- Product Reporting & Maintenance: Compile comprehensive product reports, maintain testing equipment in optimal condition, and perform multipoint safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Advanced Testing Equipment Operation: Operate and manage thermal, vibration, and vacuum systems, as well as other specialized electronic test equipment, to rigorously evaluate product performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment and components.
- Strong skills in PCB repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of process control, instrumentation, and advanced system evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in using thermal, vibration, and vacuum systems for product testing.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing abilities.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
