Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:
The business analyst will help bridge the gap between End-Users, Business stakeholders and the development team by interpreting business requirements and end user expectations by creating well-documented functional development specifications.
You understand the upstream and downstream impact from application architecture and design through to application configuration and business process workflow. You can articulate the business value and impact of why a functional or technical improvement or enhancement is justified.
You will work closely with the business stakeholders and product team to assess the product functional requirements and create product briefs, wireframes, and mock designs that support the functional and technical requirements. You will then enter well documented user stories and track them through their development lifecycle so that they can be delivered to the business with the expected business value.

Prepare well-documented functional specifications in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria and test scripts for assigned projects.
Create and/or validate that wireframes and screen mocks meet the needs of the project. (Wireframing and documenting business logic flows skills are preferred.)
Conduct analysis of complex data ensuring the functional design of assigned projects is accurate.
Participate in design discussions and ensure required functional specifications are delivered.
Review business requirements with the technology team to ensure understanding of project requirements, communicate changes to the product team and update product documents as needed.
Participate with backlog prioritization to help coordinate which tasks are most important or relevant from a business point of view and how they are impacted by the development process and technical implications.
Serve as subject matter expert to consult and advise business stakeholders on how application features or products may be impacted by technical challenges & solutions or design changes.
Participate in testing processes during software release phase and document feature functionality, enhancements, bugs, as well as any data mapping to prove the accuracy of how the application functions.
Review End-user documentation/training materials for accuracy and completeness.
Work in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, client support, training, and product teams

Plus these Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or 6 years equivalent work experience
3 or more years of QA Experience
3 or more years of Data Analyst or Business Analyst experience (preferred)
Advanced computer skills
Understanding of basic business processes in accounting, inventory, scheduling, and retail.
Ability to communicate with our customers to understand their business challenges and suggest ways we may improve our product to better serve them.
Preferred Education and Experience
Scrum/Agile Experience (Certification is a bonus!)
Experience in the Pool, Spa, and/or Hearth industries
Knowledge or experience with ERP systems, Jira, Balsamiq (or other wireframing tools)

This position works from our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington in a professional office environment. Evosus is easily accessible, located less than a mile from I-5. We are across the street from a natural grocery store, a brewery, and many local restaurants.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and workdays are Monday through Friday. This position works in a hybrid work environment and has the option to work at the office, remote, or a combination of both, holding to current department requirements.
Travel
Travel may be required occasionally for client on-site meetings.
