GROUNDSKEEPER
Full-time, onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL.
How You Will Impact The Big Picture
As the Groundskeeper, you will maintain the Network grounds, maintenance of grounds equipment and appropriately utilize Network supplies and equipment in order to minimize loss and waste.
What You Will Do
- Cut lawns, trim and edge around walks, flowerbeds, and perimeter.
- Prune shrubs and trees, rake bags and remove dead shrubs, fallen leaves, branches and twigs.
- Spray lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides.
- Clean grounds and removes litter.
- Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.
- Repair and conduct preventative maintenance on all ground keeping tools and equipment to ensure they are running correctly.
- You have a minimum 1-year ground keeping experience.
- You have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- You have the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, speak clearly and hear throughout the day, working outside in all weather conditions.
- You possess clarity of vision at varying distances and color vision.
- You must be a reliable and possess strong attention to detail, performing routine tasks without supervision
- You possess a valid Alabama driver’s license.
- You hold a High School diploma or GED
