Job Description
This position is to efficiently carry out the Company’s logistics workflow processes, ensuring that appropriate organization of technical and operational tasks are in place and available on time as required.
The duties include managing and tracking records of packages and freight effectively, preparing documents and shipments, communicating with relevant parties, and executing smooth delivery to the clients in order to achieve the Company’s business goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle technical responsibilities involved with the Company’s business operations such as package handling, operational data entry, invoices, customers’ billing preparation, freight scheduling and tracking, client assistance, and other related duties assigned as per the Company’s requirements.
- Book and schedule shipments with carrier partners and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure smooth and efficient delivery under the general supervision of Management.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, conduct operational follow-ups promptly and friendly, and resolve issues efficiently with freight carriers, customers, and brokers while maintaining knowledge of industry terms and jargon, escalating to Management when appropriate.
- Execute the shipment plan for delivery as per clients’ requirements, which may include physical activities such as lifting boxes, properly repackaging products, transporting boxes to delivery partners, and generating shipping labels for all outgoing packages.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Department to develop and execute sales strategies to draw in potential leads and new customers to support the continuity of business operations in pursuit of the Company’s goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
The candidates are expected to have the following qualities :
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic data entry processes.
- At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), Google Drive (Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms), and Email will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels, assertive and initiative.
- Must be physically healthy with the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 kg and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- Conscious of timelines and deadlines, capable of completing multiple tasks on time with minimal supervision.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating good work ethics, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude, flexibility, self-motivation, trustworthiness, and resourcefulness.
- Must be responsible, result-oriented, outgoing, energetic, mature, possess good interpersonal communication skills, and multitasking capability.
