Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using computers and basic office software
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting required
- Call center experience preferred
- 1 year physician practice experience
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors and direct them to the appropriate areas
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
- Collect patient information and enter it into electronic medical records
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and families
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for procedures
- Handle patient complaints or issues and escalate them to management as needed
