Palm Beach Rehabilitation and Care Center is currently accepting applications for an experienced Staff Development / Infection Prevention Nurse to track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedures.

Staff Development / Infection Control DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations
  • Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues
  • Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA/QI in the facility.
  • Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.
  • Acts as a liaison with the local public health department in reporting infectious disease/infections as defined in the Infection Control Manual.

 

Staff Development / Infection Control QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid RN license in the State of Florida
  • Infection Prevention Certification
  • COVID Vaccination
