We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation team.
Position Overview: As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will oversee the rehabilitation department and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapy services to our residents. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, including staffing, budgeting, program development, and quality assurance. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and therapy assistants.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in rehabilitation services.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise rehabilitation staff members.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of therapy services to maximize efficiency and resident outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care planning and delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and services, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist in Indiana.
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of practice in rehabilitation services.
