Qualifications:

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as managing and updating all aspects of web platforms; troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with design and delivery of internet services; providing support and training to users; experience using computer programming languages (i.e., HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, etc.) and ensuring compliance with regulatory, and industry standards.

Basic Requirement for All Applicants: Information Technology (IT)-related experience, obtained through paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, demonstrating each of the following competences:

-Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
-Customer Service: Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work until provides, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
-Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and respond appropriately.
-Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. Responsibilities:

This position serves as the Information Technology Specialist assigned to the Strategic Communications Staff (SCS), Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). SCS performs outreach and public affairs duties to enhance the United States Attorneys' community's visibility and interactions with its primary constituencies, the local media, the law enforcement community, government officials, and civic organizations. The staff provides information, training, guidance, and technical assistance to the 94 United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs) on Department priorities and initiatives in the areas of web and social media communications. Typical duties include:
  • Develops, implements, and maintains all aspects of EOUSA/USAO web platforms.
  • Serves as technical liaison for 400 USAOs' web administrators.
  • As Site Administrator, provides support to Staff Site Managers, reviews intranet sites to ensure compliance with the governance plan.
  • Actively participates in the website production process to ensure results match the design.
  • Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative for the web services contract.
  • Supports and trains users through creating training materials, hand-outs, videos, and conducting remote and in-person training sessions.
  • Coordinates with the technical staff in resolving helpdesk activities to monitor and respond to user problems.
  • Keeps up with Internet/intranet literature and emerging trends and technologies.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Salary : $112,015 - $145,617
