Job Description

General Clerk III : Mailroom - Warehouse / Bio-Technician

Key responsibilities include :

• Able to Operate computers and scanners
• Ability to lift large trays / tubs of mail and heavy packages
• Maintains all logs and reporting documentation;
• Participate in cross-training and assist other teams during slow periods
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and be on your feet for most of the day
• Inform, implement, and communicate all departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Train / cross new staff as needed
• Delegate and direct daily workflow needs to employees.
• Completes assignments as required or requested
• Adhere to all safety procedures; Comply with all established OSHA health, safety and security standards associated with a hazardous work environment and notifies Manager of potential hazards.
• Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines;
• Pay attention to detail and note any inconsistencies
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly, energetic and positive attitude
• Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
• Must have some PC knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal / relationship skills
• Excellent prioritizing and time management skills.
• Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

We are looking for job seekers with the following qualifications :

• One (1) year mail sorting / processing experience and Two (2) years of experience leading a team
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment for an entire shift (, bio-hazard suit and respirator)
• Able to pass required Biohazards medical screening
• Data Entry / typing is required with 45 wpm with minimal error
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work individually and / or in a team environment
• Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
