Job Description

We are searching for an Account Executive to join our dedicated Public Sector team with a focus on strategic sales, account planning, leadership, relationship management, sales growth, navigating the organization, delivering quantifiable results, and solving agency problems for our government clients.

  • Navigating complex environments to drive results. You collaborate naturally with members across different teams balancing priorities. You excel at bringing the right people to the table, tackling issues and identifying opportunities
  • You understand your customer by seeing your world through their perspective, speaking their language, and articulating the voice of your customer to improve Experian’s solutions
  • You have successful experience of sales functions such as exceeding sales standards, protecting core revenue, and ensuring delivery of solutions
  • You drive results and exceed expectations to identify new ways to maintain and strengthen current partnerships
  • You have a growth mindset, taking initiative with different opportunities to develop your skills as an Experian leader and influencer
  • You prioritize accountability and honesty, building trust with your teammates and customers by consistently delivering results

What you’ll be doing

The Account Executive role entails both new business sales and account management responsibilities for Experian’s Public Sector clients.  You will plan and execute sales activities to meet aggressive new business growth goals, proactively uncover opportunities with targeted prospects and advance and close sales successfully.  The role spans pipeline creation and sales closure across all of Experian’s core business offerings. This is a remote-based position

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

More about you

  • Successful sales experience within the Public Sector with a proven track record of expanding existing relationships and revenue opportunities.  Experience with State and Local government is preferred.
  • Background in Financial Services, Technology or related field sales.
  • Solid business acumen, with a strong understanding of corporate financial priorities and the initiatives designed to deliver revenue and profit expectations.
  • Proven ability to prospect and translate net new territory into active pipeline
  • Understanding of government procurement and bid process is a must
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Travel required, as necessary
  • 7 years of comparable experience required
