Contract Analyst
Our client is a leading healthcare technology company developing health content and patient education for health insurance companies, care management companies, hospitals, and consumer health websites. Seeking a Contract Analyst to join their Privacy and Security team. This is a remote contract position reporting to the Vice President of Privacy and Security. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to review technology licensing agreements and evaluate the flow if personal information related to the use of technology
- Conduct risk analysis of technology in relation to personal data and document findings in privacy assessment forms.
- Review privacy notices and technology to ensure compliance with privacy ordinances.
- Support in cleaning up after losing a client and assist with data protection impact assessments when available.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze contract agreements and assess their impact on privacy operations
Requirements:
- Knowledge of privacy ordinances and experience with privacy legislation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operational aspects such as web browsers, word processing, and email (O365).
- Familiarity with contract agreements and the ability to analyze their implications.
- Detail-oriented with clear, concise, and effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to follow instructions and handle constructive criticism.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or in procurement is beneficial.
- Demonstrated interest, passion, or desire for privacy-related work.
A tech background or familiarity with data systems is great but not required.
