Responsibilities:
- Experience and/or interest in production and presentation focused design projects. This role will be working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to support our internal marketing partners with social, paid display and presentation assets.
- Teamwork is a key to the success of our company so the ideal candidate for this role must have the ability to mesh with all members of the team and add to the literal and figurative design conversation.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, absorbing the project's needs, crafting concepts, and evolving the Cisco Secure brand in an engaging way.
- The designer should possess experienced knowledge of graphic design tools and processes, including knowledge of various project management tools.
- The designer will be a specialist in user-centered design processes, with keen focus on advocating for the customer experience.
- Interpreting technical ideas into visually compelling graphics is key to this role
Requirements:
- Proficient in Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Acrobat)
- Experience designing sophisticated presentations in PPT
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and other Office 360 based applications such as SharePoint and OneDrive
- Work with the visual design team to create original graphic content to support security marketing efforts.
- Advanced production design skills. Experience developing design templates preferred.
- Experience developing conceptual design and strong ideation skills
- Ability to present creative concepts, designs and communicate rationale to the design team and partners
- Participate in meetings with requestors as needed, to ensure project goals are met or exceeded
- Conduct research and client interviews to better inform design decisions
- Capacity to prioritize multiple projects, work within given creative parameters and demanding timelines and seek ways to improve processes and quality of output with functional areas.
- Understand brand strategy and the organizational/political dynamics of assigned brands, including the critical processes that drive them and the key players involved
- Conceive and design page layouts, user flows, graphics, and other user experience elements for web and intranet properties
- Design and evolve presentation materials, collateral, digital pieces, and other marketing materials
- Produce and edit internal audio/video projects from concept to completion
- Define concepts, establish strategies, and handle the delivery of visual design assets together with our Design Manager, Art Directors, and Traffic Managers
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or validated experience
- 4 years' experience in visual design, production, and creative process
