Position details:
As a part of the Revenue Operations organization, the Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for streamlining Experity’s marketing and sales experiences by improving the scalability, automation, and integration of our marketing technology and processes. This role will oversee and manage major marketing tools and integration syncs, with a focus on Pardot, Salesforce, and connected tools. The ideal candidate has the technical expertise to advise on and implement marketing automation solutions, has advanced CRM knowledge, has leveraged data enrichment solutions, and can manage analytics and reports across multiple tools, supporting every function of marketing. This role serves as a strategic advisor to our marketing team, advising on best practices and capabilities of our tools and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Bring a consultative approach to our Demand Generation efforts, recommending approaches for campaign execution and keeping our team(s) aligned to operational best practices
- Manage marketing automation strategy, including content organization and tagging, database hygiene, email marketing infrastructure, automations, dynamic content, and data flow into the CRM
- Own the success, operations, and execution of web marketing channels in partnership with marketing program owners
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of a Pardot/Salesforce Connected Campaigns hierarchy and reporting structure
- Perform routine health checks for Salesforce and Pardot with a focus on marketing data & connecting points, making necessary changes to keep platforms and lists optimized
- Take ownership of email platforms and spearhead the creation of forms, engagement studio programs, lists, and custom redirects to support marketing initiatives
- Document and maintain key processes for all tracking, reporting, and analytics functions; partner with marketing leaders to implement email, form, and content reporting catered to their needs
- Build UTM parameters and call tracking numbers for marketing pieces; ensure all tracking is flowing into CRM appropriately
- Manage technical set up and execution of live webinar events in GoToWebinar
- Assist departments in setting up and distributing corporate email communications to clients
- Participate in all marketing campaign brainstorms with a critical eye toward campaign optimization and operations needs, making strategic recommendations as required
- Manage email sending protocols across departments to ensure standardization, proper usage, and adherence to brand standards
- Coordinate with digital agencies or other third-party vendors on contracted projects
- Collaborate with the website team to ensure optimized lead flow through website properties; evaluate opportunities for lead conversion, A/B testing, and dynamic content
- Contribute to the accuracy and integrity of data through validation, testing, and routine audits
- Collaborate with digital marketing team to implement a formal A/B and multivariate testing model
- Send internal corporate communications through Pardot to Experity employees and work with appropriate leadership stakeholders
- Provide marketing team with actionable data and insights to inform marketing spend and campaign decisions
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years marketing operations, digital marketing, or marketing agency experience
- 3 years of experience working with Pardot or similar marketing automation tool
- Experience in running successful B2B marketing
- Strong interest in marketing-sales alignment
- Proven success in the use of new media and B2B technology
- Strong organization, research, and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities
- Self-driven and demonstrations creativity and adaptability in a fast-pace environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in a collaborative way
- Ability to work alongside multiple teams in various locations
Preferred:
- Pardot Email Specialist Certified
- Proficient in Salesforce.com CRM
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Copywriting and design skills a plus
