Job Description
You are an email marketing professional seeking to make your mark on a rising start-up and help develop an email marketing strategy from concept to production. While you always take a data-first approach to goals-based optimization, you also have a deep creative streak, looking for ways to use innovative messaging and imagery to drive engagement.
You are able to work seamlessly with contributors company-wide, and can speak the same language as graphic designers, front-end developers, and sales leaders to produce meaningful campaigns that align with broader business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with other members of the team to design and maintain both internal and external campaigns.
Work with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success Teams to develop campaign strategies
Develop and implement lifecycle marketing email journeys and adhoc emails
Monitor performance, conduct analyses, identify insights and implement meaningful A/B tests to optimize newsletter, email blasts, and marketing automation drip campaigns
Execute day-to-day operational tasks supporting our email marketing program, from HTML troubleshooting to QA, and deployment
Develop reporting to inform executive-level decision making
Stay up to date on the newest tools and tactics in email marketing, and maintains exceptional quality across projects / schedules
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience executing end-to-end email campaigns from audience targeting, email template creation to QA and deployment
Working knowledge of HTML / CSS primarily for troubleshooting
A/B testing experience required
Experience with major email marketing automation platforms such as Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Braze, Customer.io, Mailchimp, SendGrid, or ChurnZero
Strong Excel skills (vlookup functions, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.)
Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, campaign reporting, and dashboarding
Understanding of email marketing best practices
Excellent organizational, written, & oral communication skills
Ability to work autonomously, and own projects through completion
NICE TO HAVE
SQL experience is a plus
Knowledge of CDPs a plus (Segment.io, Simon Data, Bloomreach)
Knowledge of Google Analytics / Data Studio
Salesforce CRM experience
