Trissential is seeking an Automation Developer to join our remote team, responsible for leading the design and architecture of research automation solutions for various business processes. Leveraging your expertise in RPA technologies, low-code/no-code platforms, and scripting languages, you will create efficient, scalable, and reliable automation workflows. In collaboration with the client’s team and stakeholders, you will ensure that these cloud-based micro-services adhere to uptime and accuracy targets, are resilient, and scale as data volumes and traffic increase. You will work closely with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of research automation solutions for various business processes in the client's research domain
  • Design and build back-end services that support the client’s portfolio of data-centric, analytic applications leveraging cloud computing, big data, mobile, data science, data warehousing, and machine learning
  • Integrate automation solutions with various systems and applications using APIs, web services, databases, etc.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Architects to translate requirements into code
  • Work on deployment automation/configuration management with tools like ADO, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, and Terraform following a DevOps model
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation of processes and source code is created and maintained
  • Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers throughout the organization
  • Participate in expert-level troubleshooting and resolve problems through root cause analysis, data, and system investigation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in RPA tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or scripting languages is a plus

Essential skills

  • Possesses strong technical aptitude for designing and implementing software solutions
  • Experience with modern application development frameworks
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience with Agile software development techniques
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, etc

Desired Skills

  • Experience with other RPA technology and low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform/Power Automate and SharePoint
  • Experience in designing and architecting automation solutions for the healthcare industry
  • Experience with Google and Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems
  • Experience with databases, analytics, big data systems, or business intelligence products

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in automation design and architecture using RPA tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and scripting languages
  • At least 2 years of experience developing RPA solutions with UIPath
  • Experience integrating automation solutions with various systems and applications using APIs, web services, databases, etc.
  • Working knowledge and experience of software engineering with a minimum of internships and a minimum of 1 year of experience, or 2 years of experience coding applications or services in high-level languages (C, C , Golang, Java, C#, etc.)

Benefits

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
