Recruiting/Human Resources Assistant
Full Time
Pay Rate: $20-24/Hour
Location: 127 Town Center Blvd., Clermont, FL 34714
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5PM

Job Summary:
The Recruiting/HR Assistant will report to Recruiting Manager and the CHRO. This position will assist in all aspects of the hiring process. He/She will be responsible for attracting potential new employees by assisting in the pre-screens, interview process, and new hire onboarding.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist Recruiting team in reaching strategic goals by attracting and hiring top performing employees
  • Schedule interviews and balancing calendars for interviewers and candidates
  • Helping with applicant screening
  • Coordinate hiring activities and duties
  • Assist in recruiting resources and manage applicants in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Assist in recruiting processes to provide recruitment efforts nationally
  • Assist in creating and posting and advertising jobs
  • Assist in creating diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Greet and assist applicants onsite
  • Assist new hires through application and onboarding process
  • Administrative duties such as assigning timecards, nametags, and parking passes for new and current employees, along with logging into the systems
  • Welcome the new employees; coordinate and assist with company new hire orientation and ensure smooth transition
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure new hires are prepared with a successful work environment
  • Serve as a point of contact to address new hires, external candidates, current employee, and former employee questions and inquiries
  • Assist CHRO with various duties in Human Resources and Recruiting department
  • Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines with accuracy, good planning, and time management skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft and computer/tech savvy
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Work well independently but must also work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, onboarding) is desirable
  • Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting is helpful
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Bachelor’s Degree is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
