A marine electronics store is looking to add to their customer support team! This is a full-time position (in house, not hybrid) with standard working hours. This is a non-supervisory position that receives (via phone, fax or e-mail) and processes orders for the product line. Position fulfills customer’s needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Position provides customer service by phone, fax and/or e-mail in a professional, courteous manner to maintain open communication with customers for current and future business on a daily basis.
Pay: $19 - $20.50 DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Temp to Hire

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Talk with customers by phone concerning orders, returns, shipments and products.
- Receive and enter phone, fax and e-mail orders.
- Call customers when necessary to advise shipments delay and/or information necessary to process orders.
- Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders.
- Initiate tracers with carriers.
- Research, assemble and submit requests to make stock available.
- Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc.).
- Research and prepare quotes for dealers and government agencies.
- Respond to questions posed on the Furunousa.com web site or route to appropriate personnel for response. This includes monitoring the incidents to ensure timely response to these questions.
- Solicit sales or make recommendations to dealers for new or existing products.
- Perform customer service and purchasing functions for Timezero and Mapmedia products.
- Due to nature of job duties, position requires employee at their work station, ready to answer phone calls by 8am.
Secondary Functions:
- Research & enter credits/re-bills in computer.
- Process freight refunds and claims for delayed shipments or damaged items received by dealer or end user.
- Maintain library of past desk top dealer books in customer service.
- Maintain file room library of old model service/operation manuals.
- Notify appropriate personnel of text changes/part # changes, low stock or other essential information in FUSA desktop book/web site, etc.
- Review and process sales order replan.
- Administer consignment program.
