What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Express Employment Professionals?
We are now accepting applications for a Material Handler for loading and unloading activities in the Abilene Branch. This is a Monday through Friday position, 7am to 5:30pm with overtime!
In their day to day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.
Responsibilities
- Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers.
- Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
- Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
