Responsibilities
The Staff Internal Auditor is responsible for performing day-to-day audit procedures and tasks, providing feedback to Internal Audit management, and informing business partners regarding the status / results of audits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform audit activities of business functions and information systems in accordance with defined audit programs / procedures to deliver against specific audit objectives
- Provide regular updates on audit status, issues, and concerns
- Draft / review audit findings with Internal Audit management and business / technology stakeholders
- Advance functional / professional knowledge and pursue audit-related certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or MIS
- 0-2 years of audit experience in public or private settings
- Possess, or actively pursuing, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or similar profession certifications
CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Understanding of audit concepts / technical accounting guidelines;
- Ability to assess control designs and analyze risks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications and automated audit software
