What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Manager position at ExpressPros - Madison?
Now hiring a CNC department manager for a machine shop located in Fall River, Wisconsin! In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the CNC department as well as help with inspecting and troubleshooting machinery. This role does require that you have previous experience with Solid Works and Mastercam.
Salary: $93-120K/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (40-50 hours/week)
Work includes:
- Review production orders and schedules and review types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled deliver dates
- Plan production and operations
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance
- Work with other managers and supervisors to coordinator activities of individual departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- Strong math skills including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
- Solid Works and Mastercam experience
- Must know how to program and operate VMC/HMC mills
