About The Job:
As a 3PL Consultant, you will work closely with Extensiv clients to identify and present business solutions for customers focused on best practices that range from facility setup and optimization to process improvement and freight analysis. Success in this role will be seen as increasing client lifetime value, strengthening the partnership between Extensiv and its clients, helping improve client’s business operations, and catalyzing client growth. What You Will Do:
- Own a medium to large portfolio of existing customers that you will work with on an ongoing basis on a variety of 3PL and supply chain needs
- Leverage significant logistics and warehouse industry experience to serve as a trusted advisor to clients and their customers by consulting on continuous process improvement, warehouse optimization, 4PL distribution strategies, freight optimization, and maximizing Extensive software solutions
- Conduct thorough analysis of client operations to identify areas for process improvement, space utilization, workflows and client engagement improvements
- Perform order distribution analysis and provide freight optimization strategies
- Advise on 4PL distribution model and Extensiv Network Manager solution to help clients leverage this product to enable multi-node distribution network
- Earn credibility with clients and develop a trusted business advisor relationship
- Become a subject matter expert on all Exstensiv software solutions and be able to recommend the right solution(s) to help clients achieve their business goals
- Act as a customer advocate for product function, quality, and usability
- Key goals include ensuring customer renewals, increasing customer lifetime value, and improving Net Promoter Score
You Bring/Are:
- 5 years’ 3PL and/or supply chain experience in warehouse operations, operations consulting, or both
- In-depth understanding of 3PL operations including process improvement, IT and systems utilization, product flow and reporting needs/requirements
- Experience and detailed understanding of small parcel, LTL, FTL freight service strategies, pricing models and contract negotiations
- Experienced and comfortable working with senior leadership teams in both strategic and tactical settings
- Working knowledge of 4PL business model and multi-node distribution strategy
- Experience in supply chain and/or 3PL sales environment, strategic selling, partnership progams, etc.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse operations, Warehouse Management Systems/Logistics Systems, systems integrations, and end-user adoption
- Highly organized and process-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate the scope of work as it pertains to client expectations
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment
- Salesforce, TaskRay, and Utilization tracking tools and knowledge are a big bonus!

Extensiv strives to provide competitive market-informed compensation based on a candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. The salary range for this position is $99,000 to $133,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
