EYEQ.ity started 8 years ago in Indianapolis and has began to grow into Michigan and Northern Indiana. We offer customers a different experience when purchasing eyewear, focused on Simple, Speed and Innovation.

The Market Manager has direct responsibilities over multiple locations; including results, talent, store operations and community relationships.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Attract, develop, and retain top talent by creating a positive, supportive, results-based work environment.
Directly influence the talent development and business results of several EYEQ.ity locations.
Foster the potential that others have to grow with EYEQ.ity, creating development plans that leverage the core competencies for future promotions.
Encourage outstanding business results by focusing on specific behaviors and outcomes. Leveraging the SALES Model to link to success drivers and overall Sales to Plan results.
Respond quickly to all business opportunities identified through sales reports, profit and loss statements, store visit reports and the overall business results.
Validate that stores are scheduling based on sales trends and business needs
Monitor stores’ appearance and ensure all company standards are maintained
Identify and maximize external opportunities for business growth

Recruit/ Interview and Select-Establishing a course of action to establish a bench of potential recruits, identified based on the attributes needed, conducts thorough interviews and selects candidates based on “right fit”
Drive Results –Sets aggressive plans and pursues them with urgency to achieve Top Tier results, overcomes obstacles and describes expectations in a way that provides clarity and excites interest. Achieves results through people, setting clear expectations and follows up passionately to ensure that stores are operating at the highest level- monitors Success drivers to look for opportunities to drive the business and identify GAPS. Creates plans to immediately address business needs- stays flexible and willing to reposition themselves based on the business.
Looks for business opportunities externally and builds relationships in the community, professionally communicating “Who we are And What we do”, passionately sharing our vision to Change the Way People buy Glasses. Opens discussions effectively.

Adaptability -Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

3 years of successful, related experience as a multi-unit leader required
7 years of successful experience as a store manager/ market influencer
Proven ability to work productively with others, welcome and adapt well to change, communicate thoughts and feelings effectively, and receive and respond to feedback from others maturely
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Strong understanding of what is needed to motivate and retain top talent
Proven ability to achieve outstanding business results through others, from a distance
Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple, detailed projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
