What You’ll Be Working On

  • Greet clients, answer phone calls, and respond to email inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and set up new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow
  • Able to convert cold calls and warm leads into new client visits
  • Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client electronic medical records
  • Exhibit attentiveness, patience, and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states
  • Assist in cleaning the office, which includes ensuring the reception area and lobby are stocked, clean and welcoming

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative or front desk role
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Proficient with basic computer programs like the Microsoft Suite
  • Experience verifying insurance is required
  • Experience working with electronic health records is a PLUS!
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Optometry Office: 2 years (Required)
  • Medical terminology: 2 years (Required)
