Fleet and Facilities Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet and Facilities Coordinator to oversee the administration and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of our fleet and facilities to support the business's goals and objectives. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our business. Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Coordination:
  • Maintain the company's fleet of vehicles, including but not limited to cars, trucks, and specialized equipment used in operations.
  • Communicate with fleet drivers and automotive repair shops and coordinate vehicle repair and maintenance when needed.
  • Maintain records of vehicles, location and drivers
  • Provide forecast of vehicle requirements and provide information to Corporate in compliance with the company’s vehicle policy.
  • Monitor and control vehicle-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle operation and safety.
Facilities Administration:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including office spaces, warehouses, and network infrastructure sites.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan for facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Manage local vendor relationships for facility maintenance and repair services, including contractors, janitorial services, and security providers.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in fleet and facilities coordination, ideally in the telecommunications or FTTH industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and facility management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for fleet and facility management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
