Management Trainee

ABOUT THE ROLE

F&M Trust is excited to announce the addition of a Management Trainee position to develop bench strength for future leadership positions within the organization.

The successful candidate will go through a 18-month formalized program providing a unique opportunity for the individual to gain first-hand knowledge and comprehensive, hands-on experience in a variety of departments and areas across the organization. The management trainee may be involved in complex projects or serve on committees while also focusing on developing important leadership skills. The individual hired into this position will report directly to the Training & Development Manager while simultaneously working under the supervision of managers and executives within the organization. The management trainee will participate in job shadowing, professional mentoring, and a customized learning and development plan in a wide variety of departments. At the conclusion of the program, the individual will successfully design and deliver a capstone project before being assigned to a management or professional position within the bank.

The position will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Chambersburg, PA, with necessary travel to designated offices, trainings, meetings, etc., as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required, or anticipated graduation date within 6 months
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in the financial services industry normally required.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong aptitude to learn and develop in a variety of areas within the bank.
• Possesses leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attentive to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technologically skilled.
• Exemplifies an excellent team player mentality.
• Valid driver's license.
