F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time General Manager for its Warwick, RI location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop full understanding of relevant markets, products, and competition to build and execute Business Plan
- Interface with manufacturers to secure key product lines and maintain strong existing relationships
- Travel with field sales to maintain customer relationships and contacts
- Participate in Industry meetings and tradeshows
- Develop marketing and promotional programs as needed to build business
- Ensure adherence to CIP and meet Inventory turn goals
- Effectively manage branch staff
- Maintain highly efficient operation
- Maintain continuous focus on sales management and industry trends
- Strive for strong financial performance/Meet Corporate Profit Goals
- Maintain focus on safety initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong sales management experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to interface effectively with manufacturers
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Operations experience
- Strong business skills
- Must possess a high level of customer service
